At Robertson Chiropractic we believe that there are four important pillars of health, that need to be addressed in order to achieve optimal wellness and health.
The first pillar is spinal health: Your nervous system is in control of every muscle, organ and tissue in the body. If the nerves to these body parts aren’t functioning as they should, then your body doesn’t function as it should. Without proper function, optimal performance and wellness can’t be reached. Luckily, chiropractors are specifically trained in spinal health.
The second pillar is physical health: Our bodies are meant to move, and unfortunately we are in a society where we sit most of the day – in our cars, at work, and at home on the couch. We believe that appropriate exercise and fitness is critical to achieving wellness and health.
The third pillar is nutritional health: The “fuel” we put in our mouths, is what powers the “tank” of our bodies. You wouldn’t put the inappropriate fuel into your car, so why put the inappropriate food into your body! At Robertson Chiropractic, we can help guide you and your family towards healthier, safer options for food and nutrition.
The fourth pillar is mental health: When we feel good, we do good for ourselves, for others and for our community, and really isn’t that what life is all about? We believe that this is one of the “health pillars” which is lacking, and we can guide you towards different options that suite you best.
Current health care practices unfortunately only treat our symptoms and not the underlying cause of our problems. At Robertson Chiropractic, we strive to identify and treat that underlying cause to provide true correction, not just temporary relief.
